After a few months with no sightings the Barn owl was seen last night hunting over the wild bird mix.Hopefully we will see it more often. This afternoon after the rain stopped the butterflies were out in force with Gatekeepers, Meadow Browns, Peacocks, Red Admiral,Small Tortoiseshell and Common Blue all showing there face. Another young Levert was seen in a leek field with an adult in another leek field,this means there are 2 on the farm at the moment. The main leek field seems to have alot of Skylarks in at the moment.
