Sunshine after the rain

Well after 2 days of really heavy rain the sun has finally come out this afternoon and so have the butterflies. Quite a few Meadow browns have been flying around the grass margins, a Small Copper was seen in the wild flower meadow, along with a Green Veined White. There were a few Peacocks around as well. There was a single beautiful Comma on a Knapweed flower. The Yellowhammers have been singing well again today. Also a Whitethroat was heard along one of the ditches. The Tree Sparrows are still nesting within the brick building, so there should be plenty of young around this year.
