Yellow wagtail
Usually 1 but sometimes 2 Yellow wagtails drop in as they are passing through the county. This one is on it's own feeding in a leek field with a few Wheatears which are also passing through. One year a pair actually nested on the farm in a crop of potatoes, but were feeding on a field of turf just across the ditch in another field. They are a real treat to see on the farm.
