Mr Holland is our neighbour. Previously he has lectured at school and we have visited his farm for various projects. This was an excellent trip. It was extremely well presented to our Y2-Y6 children. Mr Holland gave them many relevant, interesting facts in a way they understood (simple language with visual and real things to look at). They were safe at all times. One child said "this is better than a school trip!" All children and staff found it very enjoyable. It was tailor made.

A very interesting and educational visit, well led by Andrew, you never stop learning. 11/09/10

We would tick excellent if there was a box. The farm provides an excellent example of the use of HLS / ELS to benefit arable wildlife. Benefiting from a very enthusiastic and knowledgeable farmer.

Education centre available on site with informative displays. Attractive handout giving background information and species lists. Very informative throughout. Weather was very poor but everyone interested throughout.

Bird-Watching & Beyond, Edge Hill University - 22/02/2009

This is our second visit. We have seen different birds and the crops are at different stages because our visit is at a different time of the year. We look forward to the next visit.
