As part of the HLS scheme, groups are invited on to the land to learn more about our countryside. These tours are open to any group interested in nature and conservation and are free of charge.

We currently are able to offer:

Conservation Walks (approx 2 - 3 hours, minimum 6 people)

Walks around the farm show conservation undertaken and our success with the flora and fauna. For more information please contact the farm for a brochure.

Bird Watching (6 - 12 people)

This offers the opportunity to see a wide range of farmland birds from our two bird hides, winter being a particularly good time to see red listed birds feeding. The Tree Sparrow Project has been particularly successful, with numbers of approximately 70 80 regularly being seen on the farm.

Powerpoint Presentations

We are happy to come and talk to groups and explain our work in greater detail. Many groups find this useful to watch before a visit as it helps them recognise and understand the activity on the landscape during a tour. It also brings our conservation work to people who are unable access the land.
